Higher Education European Curricula for Volunteer Manager qualification

Enhancing Volunteer Impact -

Developing European Management Standards

The Master of Volunteer Management is a full 60ECTS Master Curriculum, the first of its kind, which is designed to equip (aspiring) Volunteer Managers with the skills necessary to tackle the issues of today and tomorrow. We encourage any academic and volunteer involving organisation to use this material to set up, or further develop their own programmes.

It consists of twelve courses that can be taken together or separately. Each course has a Course Manual, Assessment Plan and Slidedeck for teachers. We've also written a short introduction, where we elaborate some key aspects and choices, and also offer suggestions for minor programs (15ECTS), and created some easy overviews (programme, learning objectives and literature), which are readable in the introduction section.

Do you want the Word versions, have any questions or are you seeking advice? Feel free to contact us at evi-dems@rsm.nl.

The curriculum was validated through checks with a programme committee of external experts, a week-long training event involving experts from various European countries and many presentations leading to very positive feedback from practitioners. All material is open access and utilizes open access literature, meaning the material can be freely used and adopted by you.

Have you used our material? Please let us know, we'd love to hear how, and what you think of the programme!
